Having come from a military family and being a veteran myself, I've always had a deep admiration for those in uniform who selfishly put their own life on the line. This set was born from a coworker of mine who happens to be a World War 2 reenactor. After several months of trading conversation, ideas, and dates- we came up with these. His group are called "The Forty Thieves", they are 101st Airborne reenactors who like me, share a love of history and the admiration of the most interesting generation!
